Happy Women's day

Sometimes it seems like we have have overlooked our entire history of bharat before islamic invasion. And specifically about women. India was a country that gave women equal rights since the vedic age. If I share this to a western pseudo feminist, they would laugh off at it. What happend and happens in the west does not necessarily happens in every country.

Today on this occasion of women's day I would like to wish all women around the world a happy women's day. After all without you all the world have never existed & balanced. You have taken part in art, music, culture, medicine, textile also when needed defended. Shakti is inherently existing in a woman. Shakti is power of nurturer, Annapurna (giver of food), strength, creation, maintenance & transformation. This is a dynamic energy.

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ।

यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः ॥

Everyone knows that shloka (manusmirit 3:56) Where women are honoured, there the gods rejoice; where, on the other hand, they are not honoured, there all rites are fruitless. Very hard to swallow for those who propagate hatred for Hindus by targeting women.

A communist writer Sukumari Bhattacharya has wrote many books how women were treated badly. Not too sure where those data came from. British empire? She wrote "in Brahmin family a son is a blessing & a girl child a curse"

Mahābhārata (Anuśā. 46.5-6).—‘O king, women should be always honoured & taken care, where a woman is not respected, all rites are fruitless.

Isn't Draupadi 1 of the reason for war?

Make no mistake believing TV shows. Draupadi questioned and yelled on Yudhishthir for their mistake. A mysovenist dharma wont allow that. But yudhisthir stayed quiet in shame. Even other 4 would not dare to speak. Her mortal strength and rage burnt the Kuru kul.

Yes people say it right that Vedas gave women specific duties. "Specific" dosent mean those are the only things she could do. Vedas are filled with heavy duties laden on men, women shares load from their men. There is a difference b/w responsible women & victims of mysogenist men.

The seer women have been regard as "Brahmavadini" meaning women who speaks to Brahman (universe) Upanishads clearly says "a person is neither male nor famale" Why? Because masculinity & feminine energy exist in all. In Hinduism girls are regarded as Lakshmi, Saraswati, Durga but boys are not regarded with any god since the start.

Unfortunately, we have accepted what communists right but failed our Rishikas. They have been forgotten? On this day, I would like to mention some great Rishikas forgotten. 1. ADITIDAKSHYANI: she was the 24th daughter of Daksha who was the one of the first to play chess game. She played that on device 64 Purusha mandala (the golden ratio of universe). She also used to mathematically count number of stars in sky with 64 vastu mandala.

2. TATVA GARBHAKARTA: Not just learnt & memorized but taught & applied all rituals in her life. She had mighty knowledge of Vedas like the other 17s.

3. GHOSHA: Granddaughter of Dirgatamas Maharishi. She suffered skin disease from young age hindering in her marriage. She prayed to Ashwin Kumars who gave Madhu Vidya. After gaining the knowledge of medicines, she invented a medicine for skin. She composed Rig ved sakta 30 & 40

4. VAGAMBHRANI: You know something amazingly interesting about her? She achieved oneness (moksha, kaivalya) with Devi Bhagwati in her last days. She wrote devi mantra mandala 10 sukta 125 with 8 mantras. Dont go with numbers. These 8 are basics of Advaita & Vishwadvaita.

5: ROMSHA: She was a Bramhavadini who underwent Upanyana (thread cermony). She learnt Vedic, puranic scriptures & Savitri Vachana. She got this name as her hair were regarded Vedas & its shakhas. Her intellect discussion would enhance her mentor's knowledge too. She is said to be the most well presenting questions & clarity within her.

6. SULABHA: In a sabha of king Janak when Janak wanted to know why is he not able to get AtmaTattva even following the path to moksha. He was himself a great yogi and spiritual person.

Janak seeing an unknown women walking towards the centre of the sabha, when every Bhramhavad lost the discussion, welcomes her. She explains him human errors also mentioned in Vedanta. Good & bad speech. 18 doshas she explains how speech is scientific. She further explained him the body is made with animate and inanimated substances filled with mithyajnana. "Just like 2 sand grains stay attached without knowing each other, 2 subtle bodies are unknown too"

She also told him that she was a kshtriya and could find same knowledgeable man to marry.

Were women allowed to study in Gurukuls and homes? Vedas, Vedanta, gita were not prohibited to a gender. Men and women alike read and applied knowledge in their lived to elevate the society. Except those Gurukuls which was only for Bramhacharis. In the end of this thread I would once again say Happy Nari Shakti day. Hope enjoyed it.
